Growth Hub Global Host Business Internationalisation Event with TEN and LSE IDEAS

On Tuesday 21st May we were delighted to host a networking event for founders, ambitious scale ups, policy makers. The event was set up in collaboration with The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN), a think tank for the ambitious owners of Britain’s fastest growing businesses and aspirational entrepreneurs, and the London School of Economics’ foreign policy think tank, LSE IDEAS, and took place in the Shaw Library on the LSE Campus.

The night began with an introduction from Phillip Salter, Founder of TEN, followed by a presentation from Kajal Sanghrajka, Founder and Director of Growth Hub Global, who discussed some key points around growing a business in an ever more complicated geopolitical context:

  • The importance of an interationalisation mindset sooner in the business lifecycle and ways in which to embrace an “entrepreneurship without borders” approach in systems and processes
  • Despite increasing protectionism, trade barriers and geo-political tension – expand smartly into new markets and de-risk the process rather than retrench
  • Are there ways we can better measure geo-political risk in international expansion and account for this more tangibly?

Rohan Mukherjee, Deputy Director of LSE IDEAS, then touched on some key work that the think-tank conducts and how this relates to entrepreneurship. The night was filled with vibrant discussions between all those in attendance and led to many lasting connections.

We would like to extend a warm thanks to those that attended and if you would like to contact any of the organisations involved please reach out to:
